AUN Gets NUC Accreditation for MSc/PhD In Computer Science, Information Systems

The American University of Nigeria has received approval from the National Universities Commission to offer PhD and Master’s courses in Information Systems and Computer Science beginning in the 2015/16 academic session.
This will be AUN’s second PhD program: In October 2014, AUN received approval to offer PhD and Master’s courses in Business Administration from NUC.More information after the cut!!

The approval followed upon the acceptance by NUC’s Management Committee of the Resource Evaluation reports turned in by a panel of experts which visited the University earlier in the year and attested to the institution’s preparedness to run these graduate programs.
Boasting advanced technological infrastructure and digital content delivery in all taught subjects, the University has been fully accredited by the NUC since 2003. Accredited programs are: Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management & Entrepreneurship, Marketing, English Language & Literature, Telecommunication & Wireless Technology, Information System, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics, International & Comparative Politics, and Mass Communications (Communication & Multimedia, Advertising, Print Journalism, Television/Film, Multimedia Design.)
As an institution using American university pedagogy, AUN, now celebrating its 10th year, strives to comply with both American accreditation standards as well as those of the NUC, the government agency that has the statutory mandate to accredit university academic programs in Nigeria.
