DELSU Post-UTME 2014/2015 Guidelines & Registration Procedure

All candidates who chose the Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) in the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 180 and above, that the school is officially inviting them to the University’s screening exercise for 2014/2015 academic session.

It’s also important to note here, that

all direct Entry candidates are allowed to apply too.

For all candidates who applied to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for departments in FACULTY OF ENGINEERING, should apply to either of the following which are listed below:

Mathematics,
Geology,
Chemistry,
Physics,
Industrial Chemistry,

While for candidates who applied to read “Accounting” and “Accounting and Finance” in the 2014 JAMB examination, should Apply to any other department in FACULTY of the following listed below:

Management Science and Social Science.

Also candidates who fill an application form with state of origin different from that with which the candidate applied to JAMB will be disqualified, automatically, so ensure that all the details you fill in the jamb form, correspond with the details in your post utme form.

Guidelines for Application

All applying candidates should please note that they are required to visit the school official website @ www.delsuonline.com , where they will be able to generate a virtual PIN with the sum of N2,000.00 (Two thousand naira) only.

This fee is for the screening and for accessing the result online. It’s also important that you are aware, before going to the bank, that this does not include bank charges which is N1,000.00.

Payment should be made to any of the following banks which are listed below:
Unity Bank,
Ecobank,
UBA,
Zenith Bank,
Fidelity Bank,
Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB).

Make sure that the Jamb Registration Number and Names are correctly entered. Any form of errors will not be entertained.

Step by Step Guidelines On How TO Generate Virtual Pin

1. You’re required to visit www.delsuonline.com
2. When the portal loads up, click online application
3. Then click “Start”
4. Make sure that you click the “Post-UTME” or “Post-Direct entry”
5. Then once again, Click “Start”
6. Complete the form with valid JAMB Registration Number
7. Submit the form and generate PIN
8. Print out the PIN generated
9. You can then proceed and visit any of the specified banks for payment.

Important Notes:
All applying candidates should visit the school official website, with the PIN for payment access and complete the Delta State University, Abraka 2014 POST-UTME Screening form online at http://www.delsuonline.com with their recent coloured passport sized photograph scanned to the JPEG format and not more than 20kb in size.

Please, make sure that the photograph is not older than three months.

Candidates are advised to use the virtual PIN immediately after payment, as it will be invalid after six (6) hours after its generation.

Candidates must confirm the JAMB registration number at the point of application, as there will be no result for wrong JAMB registration numbers.

Please note that the University will not be held responsible for wrong JAMB registration number entered and other errors made by any applicant at the point of application. Your application will not be successful if you enter a Local Government/State of original different from the one indicated on your JAMB registration form, so ensure that you fill in the form with your correct details.

All applying candidates must enter a valid mobile phone number and e-mail address with which the University will communicate with candidates on venue.

Screening Exercise Details.

All candidates should visit www.delsu.edu.ng to print venue of examination a day after closure of application form. Screening starts on Tuesday, the 29th of July – Thursday, the 31st of July 2014.

Candidates are required to identify their examination venue and seat number before the scheduled date of examination. Candidates are required to come to the screening venue with the following documents:

A copy of the Print-out of completed on-line confirmation of application.

A copy of print-out of venue and seat number.

UTME Result Slip (You are advised to go with the one that bears your passport photograph)

Two recent passport-sized coloured photographs with the full names of candidate and signature on the reversed side of the photograph.

Four Figure Table (where applicable).

Biro, 2B or 4B Pencil and Eraser.

Please all candidates should note that application closes at 6.00pm, on Thursday, the 24th of July, 2014.
