If other schools will adopt this method, i guess lecturers and students in other Nigeria schools will stay away from fraud. According to information reaching our news desk, a lecturer of the College of Education, Akamkpa, Cross River State has been booted out by the school authorities for extorting money from students.
a total number of 4 (Four) students are currently being investigated for academic fraud.
The college of education Akamkpa provost, Dr James Ejue, who disclosed this during a press conference in Calabar, on Friday, said that the move was in line with its zero tolerance policy on malpractices.
He said this and we quote him here directly:
“One lecturer has already lost his job because he was caught red hand taking money from students and four other students are already undergoing investigation because they already have confirmed appointments.
We are following proceedings and if found guilty, they will be shown the way out of the school. we want to keep the school clean from any forms of examination malpractice and fraudulent activities”
